Giving Tuesday, Giving Back Lifts Trans Voices

We hope you think of us on this Giving Tuesday. Our community's ability to thrive and create affirming resources is dependent on the funding you give. Thank you all for making TEA what it is today! Your donations directly give voice to the transgender community!

Dear Friends,

Thank you for standing with the transgender and gender-diverse community through our triumphs and challenges. It is an unprecedented time for our community being targeted by groups from both inside and outside Utah.

For nearly 20 years, Transgender Education Advocates (TEA) of Utah has been providing education and having conversations with legislators and community leaders who seek to introduce policies and laws that would negatively impact our community.

TEA of Utah continues to advocate for greater awareness, inclusion, protections, access, and opportunities for transgender and gender diverse people to succeed. Most important, at the core of our work we create community and spaces where transgender and gender diverse people belong and can thrive.

If you care about the right to obtain identity documents that are consistent, affirming, and safer for transgender and gender-diverse people, we need your help.

If you care about transgender and gender-diverse young people having support, inclusion and safety in our public schools, we need your help.

If you care about access to critical medical care for our youth, we need your help.

It is going to take all of us. The work we do at TEA makes a difference and we need your support to continue that work. This Giving Tuesday you have an opportunity to help us by making a year-end gift to TEA of Utah. We have had to forego our traditional fundraising events for almost two years. So, we are directly asking for your support.

If you have the means, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to TEA of Utah today.

Sincerely,

Candice Metzler (They/She), Ph.D., MSW, LCSW, TEA of Utah's Executive Director
