"It has been a long four years for many Americans, including many transgender and gender diverse people. After years of being a target for numerous Trump administration policies, transgender and gender diverse people have new hope for positive change.
These discriminatory efforts have disproportionately impacted our community, which includes vulnerable folks with diverse intersectional experiences.
The election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris bring new possibilities for civility and equality in the United States. The fight for equality continues, as it has for many years and lifetimes. We will continue to overcome our greatest challenges when we work together and see people as worthy of the same dignity and respect we want for ourselves and those we love. We are honored to part of that effort and celebrate the hope that has been reinvigorated in this historic election."
