Seeking: Trans* Identified People and Allies for the 2012 TransAction Calendar!!
(Transgender – Transsexual – Crossdresser – Dragster – Bigender – Androgynous – Agender – Gender Queer – Two Spirit – Gender Fluid – Pre-op – Post-op – Non-op – Etc.)

Trans* at Rest: The Bathroom Calendar
Which one? Where? When? Whether we’re turned off by their rigid pink and blue or turned on by their playful semi-privacy, there’s no doubt that bathrooms play a significant role in the lives of Trans* people. As our identities bounce off their moist, tiled walls, we often find ourselves in the irritatingly contrastive space, between affirmation and intimidation between pain and joy. Nevertheless, we’ve learned to navigate these spaces of “rest” in creative and healing ways. In this calendar, we stop hiding from the bathroom issue. Instead, we hope to showcase its complex and sometimes confusing role in our lives and celebrate the bathroom as a unique and intriguing part of our culture.
The TransAction Calendar is an annual awareness and fundraising project supporting the transgender community of Utah. We aim to show transness in real-time, environments it lives in. Models have the freedom to choose a sub-theme, location, & time. Small groups preferred with two or more models per shoot however singles are also welcome.
So whether you’re applying makeup in your schwanky vanity mirror, taking a romantic bubble bath, or making spitballs in the school bathroom, you belong in the calendar. Think of a creative way to showcase your trans* body and book your shoot today!

Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday: 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Thursday: none
Friday: 5:30pm – 10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am – 8:00pm
Note: All models are required to sign a model release. Not all photographs or models may be printed in the calendar. An optional instant cd can be purchased for $5 at the end of a shoot.

The Broken Spells consists of three extremely talented musicians from Provo. See them live and you’ll get what all the fuss is about.
